Lets predict the future. Who will end up having more World Championship's on his CV?
I say Selby will draw level with Higgins.

Can both see them finishing on 4.
Be very surprised if Selby wins more than 1 more.

The worst part is the changed the reds for oranges because people thought the red reflects anger

He would’ve won it last year but for Ronnie’s stroke of genius/madness/desperation...
He would surely have beaten Wilson in the final.

Definitely. Selby would have annihilated him. Wilson might win the World title one day but last year was too early for him.

Tied at best
2020 made a big difference not just to give Higgins some breathing space but a massive 3x difference between ROS and Selby compared to just being 1 below ROS
Selby would've also trashed Wilson in the F

Oh yeah I forgot about that which is ridiculous because I've watched it four times now

It wouldn't amaze me if neither win the title again.
But I never predict The Crucible properly.

We used to think that players were pretty shot by the time they were 40 but with players winning ranking events long after that age now who knows how long either or both can stay at the top level.
But but but this is assuming they get past the dominant player of the time, currently Trump who may hoover up most of the world titles for the next five years which limits potential wins for others.

Indeed. Selby knew it. Just look at his face and body language when he walked out of the arena. You could see he knew Ronnie had just stolen a World Title from him.

Another vote for the tie.
Would expect Selby to bag at least one more World title before he retires, any more may be pushing it though.

I'd put Selby more likely than Higgins.
Higgins looked frighteningly good in the PC, but that's over a few days. Does he have another Crucible win in him? He got to three Crucible finals in a row, and didn't finish it off.

Good, he deserved it for stealing it from ROS in 2014.

He's playing way better now than he did then.

Stealing it by beating him in a match?

It was more of a case of ROS losing it than Selby winning it.

In that case, Selby didn't steal it. Ronnie gave it away.

Don't talk sheet man - Selby earned that title. He completely froze Roonie out with watertight safety, deadly long potting and relentless scoring.
