The green can, and often does, get mistaken for the green. Almost all the time in fact :-P

I lost a match because of mistaking the blue for the green . I was 4-3 up in a best of 9 and was in a good position to win. I was on the yellow and trailing by a few points but the colours seemed well set for a clearance to the pink. However the blue was near the green spot and I played perfect position on the blue thinking it was the green. The green was at the other end of the table! When I got down to play what I thought was the green I suddenly realised it wasn't the green! I then had to play a safety on the green which was 8 foot away and left it up, lost the frame, and the next frame and lost £50. That was worth more in the 90s.

Yellow. Its the only primary baulk colour. Green and Brown wouldn't exist without yellow.
Plus Yellow is the only colour not to have a snooker player named after it
10,000 Shootout fans can't be wrong. YELLLLOOOO

'For those watching in black and white, the green is in front of the yellow.'
