RIP Doug.
I really enjoyed watching Dou's rebirth that year especially as he put young Hendry to the sword. And by scoring too. Wasn't it a family member who ripped him off? Hope they are proud...

That was a nice tribute. He had a funny trait of pulling up his trousers by the knee when playing certain shots. He had lung cancer in 1993 but had recovered within a year to reach the quarters of a ranking event.
