Name the Scottish percussionist, known for being hearing-impaired, who performed at the 2012 Olympics opening ceremony

as a scottish percussionist that was quite easy for me. though my hearing is intact.

what were the names of the official mascots of the 2012 london olympic games. a pair of anthropomorphised steel girders from the construction of the olympic stadium; their names were inspired by a shropshire town, and a buckinghamshire hospital, which hosted event said to have been precursors to the modern olympic and paralympic games?

The Shropshire town is Wenlock I think, don’t know the Buckinghamshire town. I’ll guess Winslow for alliteration.
