No, it's not Dan. Don't be silly.
There is about a million more worthy causes to throw 50 odd quid at than lining Hendry's pockets.

You could say that about anything.
If somebody goes on holiday, they could've saved the money and given it to a more worthy cause instead.
Every time I go for a pint, I could've done something better with the miney.

At least when you go on holiday or for a pint you are doing something that is bringing joy to you and is making you happy.
This is just making someone else happy by improving their bank balance, whilst you get next to nothing out of it.

Not that I’m bothered about it myself but promoting the Island isn’t nothing.

What? So you wouldn't get joy out of a video where Hendry read out a Saviour post or read through some of our running jokes.
You boring bastard

Hendry reading a HendryFan post, while acting out the emojis, would be undervalued at £50

If he can get enough money by doing these personalised messages he may not need to come back at all.

Surely he isn't skint? unless the ex wife really rinsed him in the divorce, I think it's more likely he is just generally being Scottish and trying to make as much money as possible just to save, can't blame him for that can you.

Well, why not do it?
If people will pay him £50 to go; "Hello Mavis, I hear you like bingo", then you might as well.
He's not conning anyone. He's providing a service that people are willing for pay for.

From the dictionary...
Prostitution1. The practice or occupation of engaging in sexual activity with someone for payment.
"they were held captive and forced into prostitution"
2. The unworthy or corrupt use of one's talents for personal or financial gain.
