Surprised Dott is leading this. He's a very good and underrated player, but to say he's better than Thorburn? I just can't see it myself.

Dott’s a terrific player but all things considered, Thorburn was the second best player in the 80’s behind Davis. He also has three Masters titles in his locker.

Had Dott’s prime been in the 80s
& Thorburn’s in the 21st century,
I can see these two being extremely well-matched talent-wise, & on will-to-win and iron determination too.
Most of their matches would go the distance.
