Snooker cues handmade

Postby bobbyrayner@aol.com

Hi I have started to play again after a twenty year gap, I have been using a Riley ROS cue, which I assume is mass produced, having started to make breaks of 50+ again I now want to splash out on a handmade cue and thinking John Parris does anyone think its worth spending 800+ or should I just stick with my Riley.

Parris are good cues, but expensive for what you get. You definitely pay a premium for the name. Thai cue makers are cheaper. I've got a Master Cue and a Maximus, both of which are Thai and I got them from Greenbaize.com. Both are great cues. The Mastercue was under £200,the Maximus a little over £300.
