If the player was still alive/on tour they’d most likely be your 2nd favourite now too since Hendry’s retired and Judd’s number 1, so I thought the “early 2000s” might have been a clue!

Nah I was pretty much resigned to that one as soon as the first session ended!

You’d think so but no. Again resignation set in before the end of the match came on that one.
I have mentioned this match a lot on here on this subject.

Neither of those - Ebdon loss was while I was still semi-casual and the Cahill loss you could see coming a mile away from how Ronnie played throughout the match.

Nope, not too bothered by that one other than it being Murphy. Ronnie’s record in the CoC’s so good the odd loss doesn’t bother me.

Nope, quarter final too far from the business end to be among the most painful.
Shoot Out was obviously a terribly painful loss but not quite the worst.

Well as I said, you were close in terms of timeframe with the 2010 Selby loss.
I feel like that should narrow it down pretty well, there can’t have been that many big losses around that time.

I can't really remember that many loses Ronnie had around that 2010 period.

I didn’t say it was 2010, I said it was close to the 2010 Masters loss
