Monday 12th ~ Sunday 18th of October at The Marshal Arena, Milton Keynes

Defending champion Mark Selby once again for the 3rd match in a row survives a final frame decider, and now plays Zhou Yuelong. Robbie Williams is having a good week, and will now play Neil Robertson who is scoring well. Judd Trump and Kyren Wilson continue their rivarly and meet for the 2nd event in a row, and John Higgins plays Jak Jones, the latter in his first ever ranking event quarter-final.

Best of 9 matches now, who shall win and move into the Semi-Finals?

DRAW

Quarter-Finals

Mark Selby v Zhou Yuelong Yuelong leads 2-1
Robbie Williams v Neil Robertson Robertson leads 4-1
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Judd Trump v Kyren Wilson Trump leads 9-8
John Higgins v Jak Jones Higgins leads 1-0

Selby never looked like the winner of his matches today he had to dig very deep to get the wins and book his place in the Quarter Finals.

and as for Jak Jones coming through a section that had Ronnie O'Sullivan in for his first Quarter Final.

Surely that’s only impressive if he plays Ronnie? Otherwise it’s irrelevant, right?

Pretty much.

Good reply from Ronnie.

It's the media who love to call it Kyren v Trump a grudge match, but it's just two players with a good rivarly trying to beat each other, and Kyren takes inspiration from what Judd has won and wants to do the same.

Who watched Jak Jones night? As far as I could see he really did an Ebdon on Stevens. You could see how wound up he got. Not sure it’ll flap Higgins if it is a deliberate tactic.

Mind you, I don’t mind the Think Pink points.

I didn't know it was her birthday.

Is it impolite to ask her age?

Probably not impolite to ask me - especially as I don't know the answer.

Also Terry Griffiths's birthday. I know he is 73 before you ask.

Doesn't make much of his second chance and fluffs the third chance. Zhou misses his first chance (albeit hard). Selby left with a chance to win the frame
