A real heavyweight pairing this. But it's got to be Ebdon-Hendry, doesn't it?
It was definitely the weakest of the three deciding-frame World Finals, but it was still a deciding-frame world final. And it was dramatic. And we had an upset. And we had Ebdon rescuing it when it looked like he'd screwed it up.

It's worth remembering that at the time, Ebdon was much more popular than in later years, at least from what I can remember. And nobody wanted Hendry to win yet again.
I was absolutely thrilled that he won the decider.
Clear winner here for me.
