PTC6 Draw
Mark Williams and Ali Carter, two of the world's top four players, will go head to head in the first round of Star Xing Pai Players Tour Championship event six.
Carter is ranked second in the world but is outside the top 64 of the PTC Order of Merit so is unseeded in the draw, and has been handed a tough game against World No 4 Williams in the event at the World Snooker Academy in Sheffield, which runs from October 14 to 17.
Other matches of note in the last 128 include Stephen Maguire against Ken Doherty, Stephen Hendry against Matthew Stevens and Liang Wenbo against James Wattana.

Knowing Hendrys Luck if he beats Carter...... Ronnie would have decided to make a Appearance and he would get Ronnie in the last 64.

they really do have to be slicker and more on the ball than this ...
for example EPTC 2 finished 3rd of october the draws for UK and Masters wasn't published until October 14th 11 bloody days with Rolling Rankings draws got to be published no later than 2 days so that people can start organising days off to go to the matches 11 days later is rubbish.
Welsh Open finishes 20 of feb and china open quals start 4th of feb so they will have to get that draw out very fast hopefully the World Draw and format will be out at the same time.
it has to be faster than its been.

Hold on, the Welsh Open was meant to be the cut off point for the remaining tournaments. So a player ranked inside the top 16 after the Welsh could still have to qualify for the China Open then

no the top 16 after welsh is the seeds for china but there will only be 2 days to organise the draw so players will know when they play.
