Like many of Selby's matches not very memorable even if they are close. I cannot remember that much about it but then again I am getting on now.

All I can remember was Junhui looking like he hated Selby at the end.

How the buck is this rated at 5?

Too low? I know you're a huge fan of this match.

In terms of quality alone? I would go as far as to say it's number one. Not just the break-building, but the standard of safety and mental strength from both players. Insane.

In terms of excitement? Also scores strongly, but it didn't have anywhere near as memorable a finish as the four that are going to be ahead of it. Although Ding's cold handshake at the end is pretty iconic.

Wonderful match, especially the third and fourth sessions. Some of the tactical play was unreal, both of them escaping from seemingly impossible situations.

Had everything from a snooker fans point of view, big breaks, good safety, long potting, close frames, drama.

I was gutted Ding lost but felt it was a good match overall. I missed the last session as I was at work and kept checking the scores, in the last few sessions Ding was always playing catchup and could never get ahead.

The third session was off the charts.

Fair enough -I shall await the top 4

I remember going for a slap up meal at Dim T rather than watching the final session.

I have never regretted this decision - food was lovely!
