Thanks Chendu. I did that off the top of my head.
Which two players have scored a century in their very first frame at the Crucible?
Yan Bingtao lost his first ever frame at the Crucible
You're right!
I was wrong.

Ebdon made a 92 in his first frame.
I don't think there is anyone other than O'Brien.

Okay. So that question is now void.
Who was the last and maybe only player to win 2 consecutive matches at The Crucible against players from The Republic of Ireland?

No.
McManus beat Fergal O'Brien in the first round in 1994, but then lost to Ken Doherty in the next round.

Yes! He defeated Eugene Hughes and Patsy Fagan. And followed that up with a win over a very young John Parrott!
The funny thing about the Reardon vs Fagan match was Fagan's tip fell off late in the second session and he had to use Reardon's cue for the last 8 frames of the match!
