My remaining balance is 14, but there's only a possible 7 matches left to play.

I've done a re-count of your predictions to confirm this, your balance should have been 12 going into the quarter-finals.

My balance should be 3 now. It was 4 before the quarters.

Mine should have been 30 last Sunday before I predicted anything too :)

Ok. I will PM Wildey.

I might well change my mind now. I thought I was out of contention.

They can but you are ahead on all tiebreakers at the moment. (Correct scorelines first followed by correct winners) as they can't eclipse the number of correct scorelines you had, they mathematically can't win the contest.

Congrats to Carayip and thanks to PLtheRef.

I thought this was the best ‘alternative format’ contest yet. It made for a very tight competition.

Only change I’d make would be: picking finalists doesn’t count as predicting before the first round unless you also predict on matches. Either that or more simple you have to predict matches in the first round to be included in the contest.

I echo this.

Great format.

Well played Carayip for winning and particularly PL The Ref for his ingenuity in running the competition.

The best thing about it was not having to predict every match.
