Whilst this is still highly amusing those earpieces are for BBC commentary, and Yates knew that, but the burning question is did he just run with it or did he think for a second that he was coming through the earpiece?
This is the question that will forever haunt Yates fans all around the world (all 2 of them) and until we know the truth one can never really watch snooker with Yates commentary without dwelling on this crucial moment in time.
