Higgins is a nice enough fella, I have to say, but I've always been baffled by him being touted as this ambassador – and I have to say, he has revelled in that.

There was never any of this Jesus crap with Hendry or Williams or Selby, for example. And they've been in trouble less than Higgins has.

There was and is with Steve Davis, but to be fair to Davis, I think he actually deserves to be seen as an ambassador.

In my opinion, it was exactly what happened. They got him drunk, so he'd boast and say something stupid.

Quite why he thought anybody would believe his mafia story is beyond me.
