Ronnie seems a bit flat

Postby Rockettim147

Is it me or does Ronnie seem a bit flat? I think he’s gonna have a season where he wins the invitation events only, or win nothing for the rest of the season like Selby last season

Lol how can you say that?

Typical Ronnie fan, ROS has 2 or 3 losses in a row and they panic like he wont win anything else for the rest of his career.

Grow up.

Wow - stern words from Andre.

I felt Rockettim was asking a fair question given Ronnie has not won a ranker for a while. However, I am sure he will win one soon.

I think Judd might skip a tournament or two so that should offer a couple of opportunities.

The Shanghai Masters used to be a ranker. Ronnie just won that. I wouldn't worry about Ronnie winning tournaments, I'm sure there's many more titles to come. He's had some great seasons these last years. Not doing very good at the World Championships, but it wouldn't even surprise me to see him win one or two more World titles as well. As long as he keeps playing he'll be winning tournaments, he's just too good.

I seem to remember Ronnie beating Judd in the Tour Championship semi not so long ago...

Ancient history man.

Ronnie's as flat as a witches tit

This is typically when Ronnie's season gets going from the CoC and onwards and he's won 3 tournaments already including 2 ranking tournaments this year, hardly flat.

If Shanghai was still a ranker I don't think you'd ask this.

Everyone has situations affecting them in their life off the table. And as you get older your perspective changes.

Ronnie's beaten Judd last time they met.

And I'm sick of people trying to make 2 or 3 losses in a row like it's the end of his career.

He'll win more titles, rankers and non-rankers. Just wish he had more sucess at the Worlds since 2014.

I was attempting to be ironic Andre - trying to poke a little fun at the morbidity of the doom-mongers amongst the Ronnie fans.
Judd is enjoying far more success than Ronnie atm but that is the way of things. Judd suffered poor seasons before this one.

The hyper sensitivity of Ronnie fans does amuse me though.

Totally agree, when will people realise Ronnie is an enigma?!?! I'm not his greatest fan but he is doing something right, prolonging his career at top level in a way Davis or Hendry couldn't do. I hope it continues, unless against Robbo :)

if it wasent for Ronnie last season Neil Robertson would have picked up 4 tournaments in a row something nobody has managed since Hendry around 1992

But we've been through it all before. When he lost four ranking finals in a row people were overreacting. He was never winning again according to some people.

I think it’s you who should grow up. I thought this before Shanghai. If you can respect someone’s opinion then please don’t comment on there thread
