What are your 3 hopes for the season ahead?
Mine are:

1. Ronnie to play 4 events this season
2. Those 4 events to be the Home Nations
3. Ronnie wins all 4 and uses the £1,000,000 bonus to establish a prize fund for 147s to make up for the prize fund that Barry Hearn eliminated

The only thing I really care about is seeing Ding win The Crucible.
Plus, maybe some younger players winning some ranking events.

He's about 30 points off the pace for that on recent form.

How can one be 30 points off the pace in snooker?

Well about three years ago when Ronnie was in a dominating spell winning back to back tournaments in devastating style - I think after he slammed Selby 10-4 in the Masters Willo tweeted 'Ronnie is 30 points better than anyone else on the tour at the moment'

Ding probably needs to look at an improvement of around 2 furlongs if he is to have a chance of winning the Worlds.

Gilbert to win a ranking event.
Jimmy White in Top64.
Reanne Evans winning Q-School.
Last 2 are unlikely to happen.
More unlikely : Ebdon winning Snooker Shoot-Out.

I’m surprised you’d rather Ronnie win the Worlds than Judd. Any reason for that? Just the length of time since he’s performed well there?

Judd has just won it, and he's got plenty more years to win it a few more times. Ronnie hasn't won it in 6 years, and doesn't have time on his side. The World Championship is the only thing left for Ronnie to achieve, he's broken every other record.

I won't support him if he doesn't try. I will fully support him if he actually wants to win the thing.

Maybe he is not trying because he does not feel he has your support.
