Lovely article. Honestly, how can anyone begrudge this man anything? After all he has given and still gives?

He wanted a tour card and it looks like world snooker have given him one. The correct decision has been made.

Whether he's a nice man or not why should he be given a wild card on tour and deprive a player who should be there on merit? Am i reading it right? Is he depriving a player of being on tour or not? Also,he's nowhere near more natural a player than Ronnie. Ronnie's 10 tines the player Jimmy was. He doesn't half love himself does Jimmy.

Or at least depriving someone a top up place in tournaments, if not a tour card.

Could deprive the next James Cahill.l of chances.

should be OK then as Ronnie doesn't enter all the tournaments so nobody will really miss out even with 2 invitational cards. They make it 125 if all platers enter (which is rare).

If anyone has robbed a place from anybody its Ken Doherty as he has got himself back on the tour as hes allowed to do that and has meaning 65th placed man misses out on a card

Barry Hearn has said that there will be 128 players on tour and the last places will be filled from the q-school order of merit, so that's why Jimmy will be getting a tour card ahead of someone on the q-school order of merit
