What? Have John's mates from Poland visited him?

What did he say?
Higgins was on a slightly tricky red, not guaranteed to get position for a colour. Had to screw back with some power. Hendry immediately said be careful with the middle pocket. And he was right.
That's why you need one former player commentating. To make calls like that.
The ideal pairing for me is a journalist who knows all the facts about the game, knows who all the current players are etc and a player who has played at a high level, that can explain what is happening on the table at any given time.
This is a balance the BBC in particular never seem to get right.
Most of these commentators/pundits are paid trolls, nothing more.

Is there some kind of break?
The live scores don't seem to be doing anything.

Higgins in with a great chance, balls spread far and wide.

Me either. It's his fault it will come down to that, he took on a stupid shot like he always does.
And even if he would have made it, he wouldn't have been on any color. His stupidity might cost him this match.

It should never have gone to a decider, ROS played the wrong shots.

It would help if he stopped treating every safety shot as if it's Pythagoras' theorem. Just needs to play his natural game. Sometimes the simple option is the best choice.
