Just an update on Michael White. He's now dropped down to 39 on the two year list, and 93 on the one year list.

This thread is an example of why I like Kyren Wilson. Not the biggest fan of his style, but he's the only one of this age group (other than Trump) winning events and maintaining some sort of consistent level of play.

Trump is far more likely to win it this year than Ding.....
Famous last words.

I want to see a World Final between Ding and Matthew Stevens.
They'd both bottle it so much, The Crucible would start again the next year, and they'd still be trying to finish off the match.

Ding doesn’t really bottle big leads, he just doesn’t turn up.

Hopefully Ding wins it. He could retire being World Champion.
And if Judd manages to stay consistent this new approach to the game is the right one to succeed at The Crucible.

He's certainly not favourite this year.
But then again, neither was Bingham.

I know I said I wouldn't create an argument about something so trivial, but it does amuse me looking back that on Page 1, the three people who are now mods seem in disagreement about whether this thread is acceptable or not.

Not a bad shout.
But as Yan Bingtao pointed out. Having potential, and keeping that potential going are two separate things.

My prediction is that he will, but give it a minimum of five years yet. Experience seems key these days.
Indeed it is.
His game is well suited for a possible Crucible crown.
Atm I'd say Kyren Wilson, McGill and
Michael White are the most likely winners of a World Champs being born in the 90s.

Currently obviously looking a highly, highly unlikely.
Michael White, with his in my mind phenomal long potting, is the only outsider I see that COULD win it now.
