Davison completes the bottle job. He was 3-1 up, and had multiple chances to win the match. Robertson wins the decider though.
Predictable, sadly.

Nearly clocking off time.
In 24 hours, I'll be in my hotel. Hopefully having watched a bit of the snooker on TV in my hotel room, with a cheeky pint or two sent to my room.

It's clearly a rubbish lineup. At best there will be 5 players from the top 16 that make it into the quarter-finals.

It's a good time for it. If we're gonna get a lackluster lineup, better to have it in a relatively minor event like one of the Home Nations...

Selby wins 4-1. Just Higgins vs Steadman left to complete the last 16 lineup.

He's clearly gonna beat Swissenbacher, such is the rule of surprise wins, and he will be giddy after beating Ronnie.
Stands by and waits for this to be reposted later, when he wins. hehe

50/50 game that for me. Coin of a toss really to echo the Belgian Bullet Chichanski.

I remember the last 16 lineup last year was shocking too. It's hardly surprising when you have the flat 128 draw and bo7s.

The quality might have gone straight down the pan, but I’ll still be happy as long as anyone except Robertson or Bingham win it.

Would’ve preferred O’Connor not to be playing Ding as I like both

many lower ranked pros treat the Home nation events like an opportunity of a lifetime.
Flat 128 draw, bo7, maybe a few toppros who havent even entered and other toppros who've already had a great season and don't really bother about this one.
Perfect conditions for a journeyman to excel and take advantage.
