The other thing that happens sometimes is that if you are say 20 points ahead with just a few reds left, you go into sniper mode and just pick off the reds (even if no colours available) just to limit your opponents scoring potential. Do you do this? Rarely happens in a pro game.
Hmmmm
,yeah,i do indeed go into "sniper mode",along with that,i try n freeze the opponent out,by playing top safety play.
Yeah.. usually though in this position if there's even a sniff of a red I'll go for it!

Is he serving up egg and chips HF?
I like your wording Dan-
You did,nt write EGGS.
I,d say so far bar the 50+ clearence John made to steel the 2nd frame,he has indeed served up an egg n chips performance so far.
John steels another frame, this time he knocks in a 31 clearence to steel tgat 4th frame from the Chinese young gun.

This match demonstrates perfectly that there's this myth going around about the standards lower down the rankings.
Yuan Sijun is one of the best young players around at the moment but he cant really compete with a Crap Higgins.

Speaking of Poolboy, he replied to my PM, said he made a conscious decision to lessen his time on the internet, but that he'll be back by the world champs!
