Is there enough for lower ranked players after Christmas?

If you don't qualify for Germany or the itv series then your next chance to play is Welsh Open on 11 Feb, then only the shoot out, Gibraltar and the China open before the world's at the end of the season. Could another ranking tournament be squeezed in maybe in
January to counteract this?

Yeah, the big-name only tournaments all seem to come at once, don't they?

That would mean no Champions League. This is surely the crème de la crème of the snooker.calendar
