11 players won the 20 ranking events, 3 for the first time (Luca Brecel, Ryan Day and Michael Georgiou).

Ronnie O'sullivan 5, Mark Williams 3, John Higgins, Ryan Day, Mark Selby 2 each, Judd Trump, Ding Junhui, Neil Robertson, Luca Brecel, Michael White and Michael Georgiou 1 each.

A further 10 players reached a ranking final, 2 for the first time (Yan Bingtao and Cao Yupeng (twice)).

19 players got as far as a ranking semi-final, without getting to a final, including four chinese players, Xu Si, Lyu Haotian, Li Hang and Zhou Yuelong.

63 players got at least as far as a ranking quarter-final.

Mark Williams reached 10 QFs (from 20 rankers!), Ronnie 8, Trump and McGill 7 each, Higgins & Murphy 6 each.

Ronnie O'Sullivan, Mark Williams, John Higgins, Judd Trump & Shaun Murphy reached 5 Semi-finals each.

Ronnie won every ranking tournament in which he safely negotiated the quarter-finals.

There were 8 maximum breaks made in 2017/18 with Liang Wenbo making 2 (and missing the final black of another).

Most centuries: O'Sullivan 74, Trump 73.

Looking also at the ranking points earned this season, the following players could be in trouble getting in the top 64 at the end of next season, either because they earned very few points in 2017/18 and/or because their two-year cards will end:

Will it be some of these players final season?

Low on the one year list:
Marco Fu (only 66th highest points earner in 17/18)
Alan McManus (57th highest)
Fergal O'Brien (62nd highest)
Matthew Stevens (50th highest)
Peter Ebdon (54th highest)
Matthew Selt (56th)
Dominic Dale (64th)
Rory McLeod (68th)
Anthony Hamilton (92nd)

Outside top 64 of one year list and will need to have good second season on two year card:
Alexander Ursenbacher (77th)
Xu Si (81st)
Yuan Sijun (84th)
Jimmy White (85th)
Robin Hull (93rd)
Nigel Bond (100th)
