fortunately not all of them are as clueless as Maguire.

I guess he did because he considers winning a last 128 round an achievment these days.

The noughties should have been Maguire's decade. Like the 80s were for Davis and 90s for Hendry.

never the same player since he bottled a 14-10 lead v Higgins in 2007 WC. Really should have been World Champion that year.

Don't agree with that, but he should have been a multiple world champion and broken the Higgins-Sullivan duopoly.

He could have been better than Selbo. I can pay him no higher compliment than that.

Not going to judge Mags as don't know what his relationship with booze is like, but it is sad if he was celebrating after winning a first round match. He's been whitewashed a few times this season, and just seems like fodder for top 16 players now. Hope he becomes competitive again but big part of snooker is attitude.

COME ON JIMMY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yet an another winnable match to him.

Perhaps Jak was temporarly blind and couldn´t see how badly Jimmy actually played. That would explain a lot. Just kidding. Hopefully Jimmy can get even better and perhaps to record a century now also.

Glad the things are up and running towards the UK. Some very predictable results but a few upsets also.

Never state the obvious. But. Still.. COME ON JIMMY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What is all this talk of people being tired? If they are tired, then they should look after themselves better. Most people who play snooker have to do a proper job, then go to the hall for a few frames.

Understand the jet lag thing, that's different, but playing nine frames of snooker has no tiring effect on the next day or thereafter.

I doubt he was celebrating particularly, he just went on the p*ss!

Yeah most likely, with some of the players that have gone out could have been a great chance for him.
