Zhou Yuelong probably younger than 19 too by your logic? If you haven't noticed, people look different

I think he just looks older than his years as some people do. Won the World amateur champs at age 14

That was an outstanding steal. Hard table, hardly any ball on original position, but takes in on the final black. Kudos, Allen.

Really is.
Who was the last 17 year old to reach a ranking event semi?
First that comes to mind is Paul Hunter.

The clearance in the last frame from Allen plus the 2 magical clearances in the Gould match today were some of the best this season already.
Especially that one from Gould.

Trump and Allen played a 6-5 match here back in 2012, Trump won it and indeed the title.
He'll be looking to repeat that.

This is one of the abilities Trump have. To suddenly win a frame in one visit (and in no time) after having lost the frame before in a very painful way.
He just can't produce this type of standard throughout a whole match though and thats always been his weakness and the key difference to someone like Ronnie.

Trump will still lose the match. He talks too big after he wins a tournament. And that comes back hunting him.

Soon as he wins a tournament he starts talking about how he wants to dominate and that sort of thing
keeps saying this rubbish over and over for the past few years...
you dont see someone like Selby saying those things, he says he takes one tournament at a time and that's how you should approach it.

Apparently, out of his six losses this season, four were in deciders!

If Yan wins the tournament beating O'Sullivan, Higgins, Trump and Selby and become the youngest ranking winner would be up there with some of the GOAT achievements

Allen's safety play fails him in bad moments. But seemingly, Trump might not take full advantage.
