36/86 needless to say my knowledge is not very complete
also you can get quite a number of points from mentioning the people in the commentary boxes nowadays

I missed 7.
Jamie Cope, Mark Davis, Ryan Day, Martin Gould, Dave Harold, Darren Morgan, Ricky Walden.
5 of them are still active, so i feel i really should have got them.

Snookerfan - take the quiz! As the premium poster on here, you owe it to your people.

Nah, I'm alright.
I'm terrible at that sort of thing.
I'd forget every snooker player I'd ever heard of.

Ah, useless. I got 50. I froze. I'm terrible at memory quizzes like that. It's like putting money on the juke box, then forgetting every song you've ever heard of.
The most obvious one I forgot was Stephen Lee. The rest were sort of old school ones.
Though, I'm taking 51, as I put John Spencer in and it didn't take it. Must've misspelled somewhere.
