What I've seen of Six-Reds in the past, which isn't much, I've found to be decent enough. Not as exciting as the 15-red game, but y'know. Watchable.

This on Eurosport?

Oh right, the US Open is on. <doh>

When are people just going to get it into their heads, that snooker is a superior sport to tennis? :grrr:

Don't mind a bit of 6 reds. I remember that young player Kristanutt (sp?) cutting a swathe through it a couple of years ago.

Dark Mavis was always a decent 6-red players.

Starts to be rather desperate.

Not the biggest surprise in the world the people are participating.

Lolz. I remember Clive Everton describing Mavis as 'somewhat of a six reds specialist' which made me giggle.

Davis has THREE world titles at six reds, and calling him a specialist is not ridiculous. He is excellent at clearing up when everything's in the open, as happens very often in six reds. His weakness is in developing a break when there's anything awkward, which is why he hasn't been as successful in 15 reds.

Apologies PB - I stand corrected.

I know these things because I actually play our great game.

No, I'm a very good player - or I was, at least. That was my only break over 140 though.

Blimey. That is some standard. And I just thought you were good at being a gob-shite :P

love you really :) xxx

The fact that you play the game means your views on snooker holds far more weight than 99% of the clowns on here.

You see, I am proof of how nonsensical that theory is. I'm probably the best player on Snooker Island but my posting is worse than diarrhoea.
