Matches are uploaded to YouTube pretty quickly. Not live, obviously, but given the time difference you can pretend it is (if you can just about manage to avoid the results)

I think that the Eurosport player at £3.99 a month is an essential purchase as a committed snooker fan. They cover everything, you can watch when you are abroad. Love it.

You all seem to be talking about the World Cup, but for the record BBC and ITV seem to own the rights to this event. Doubt they'll show much snooker. The Olympic Channel will also be live-streaming (for free) so maybe they'll show some matches.

Surely, what you are watching on Eurosport is the World Cup? That's the tournament that is currently being played. The World Games is something different.

The World Games, first held in 1981, are an international multi-sport event, meant for sports, or disciplines or events within a sport, that are not contested in the Olympic Games. The World Games are organised and governed by the International World Games Association (IWGA), recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). The World Games are held every four years, one year after the Summer Olympic Games. The next World Games will be held Wrocław, Poland, in July 2017.

Yes, there seems to have been some confusion. I was talking about the World Games NOT the World Cup.
This is probably my fault, because I asked it when the World Cup happened to be being shown on TV.
Thanks for the information, though. It sounds like there won't be much televised snooker during the World Games.

Not sure, if I'm honest.
What was it that Ding won gold medals in? Was it this, or was it something else?

Just googled.
That was, of course, the Asian Games. He won silver in the 2005 World Games.

You sure that wasn't a repeat of the 1985 version?

So, did we officially decide that this wasn't getting much televisual coverage?

That would be an ecumenical matter.

http://www.wpbsa.com/world-games-2017-t ... formation/Seems like no streams specifically for snooker just one channel which shows everything. Looking at the schedule we won't see too much snooker, a total of 3 hours and 15 minutes will be live billiards, on Friday and Sunday.
