Saturday 16th of April~Monday 2nd of May at The Crucible Theatre, Sheffield

Yesterday saw Shaun Murphy win a dramatic match over talented youngster Yan Bingtao with the aid of a fluke. Marco Fu was also involved in a thriller as he fought back to 2-7 to beat Luca Brecel. There were also wins for 2015 WC Stuart Bingham and Mark Allen.

As day 4 begins, we have three more matches coming to a close. John Higgins and Ding Junhui will be hoping to close it out from their promising positions, while the third match, between newly seeded Liang Wenbo and Stuart Carrington, will start and finish today.

The remaining matches involve World Number 2 and bookies' co-favourite Judd Trump facing Rory McLeod, while two time finalist Ali Carter plays 2006 Champion Graeme Dott in a battle of the Crucible specialists.

Hopefully Gouldy can win the first couple of frames and make things interesting.

Liang v Carrington looks an interesting match

Nice to see BBC feature Murphy's opinions on Ronnie, why do we give a sh*t what he thinks? Besides, he didn't get the letter so how can he give an assessment on it? If he put as much effort into his cueing as he did his mouth he'd go far.

Hopefully Ronnie shuts his mouth in the 2nd Round and puts him where he belongs, back in his box.
