i wander if heather mills will be in the venue lol

theres a thought Barry Hearn should have Given a Wild Card on tour to Jamie Walker to see if Heather will invest Paul McCartney cash in the sport <laugh>

Re: Pink Ribbon Draw and Discusion

for me the pick of tomorrows matches is Ryan Day vs Reanne Evans

it will be a good indicator on how Reanne will cope on the main tour ....ok its only one match but i bet some expect her to get swamped in the big "man" game.

Good test for her but at the end of the day, it's only a BO7 match in an exho, so even if she's hammered 4 zip, it won't be a life-threatening defeat <ok>

Re: Pink Ribbon Draw and Discusion

Postby Roland

She won 4 zip today but Ryan Day will be a big test. I hope she gets a couple of frames off him.

no but im thinking more interms of how she plays not the result hope suzy or monique will give us insight on that

Re: Pink Ribbon Draw and Discusion

Postby Wildey

personally i think had Alison fisher stuck around she would have made the break through.

she turned pro in 1991 when the floodgates opened that gave us Ebdon that year and by 1995 she quit and went stateside to play pool she makes a great living out of it there and good luck to her but its a shame she only gave it 4 seasons.

Unfortunately I will arrive only in the evening. I hope to be there on time for the second batch of the last 32.
I also hope I will able to have a chat with Reanne whatever the result.

Re: Pink Ribbon Draw and Discusion

I heard she was going on holiday or something but I can't see the point in pulling out. Who knows?

Re: Pink Ribbon Draw and Discusion

BTW Janie told me earlier today there is no Internet access on the venue, only in the hotel. So this, I suppose, explains why updates are scarse: she has to go back to the hotel to get them through.

Re: Pink Ribbon Draw and Discusion

Possibly, she booked to go abroad some months ago which is why she is not attending the first PTC. It could be she had to get away quickly to catch her flight. Shame really especially for the lad she beat in the first round who could have had a go at Ryan Day.
