Last time I remember Higgins losing a big match like this from a good advantage was the 2014 Masters.
Led Selby 5-3, lost 6-5 on the black.

Hendry shocked, Higgins didn't go into the pack.

What is Hendry on about? Higgins has always preferred to pick reds off before going into the pack.

Of all possible outcomes it shall be a great final.
If it's O'Sullivan vs Ding in the final Ronnie will win easy because he's had Ding's number since that infamous Masters final.

Higgins was just superb
142 total clearance to finish it off, highest break of the week and could well become highest of the tournament by Saturday.
Very well played.

That was my first live match; a cracking way to pop the snooker cherry. Higgins played some awesome stuff. And good on Judd for stealing the frame at 5-2 and pulling another back, making it into a proper contest. He was playing alright, but Higgins just delivered a masterclass in that final frame.

My first proper match live was Steve Davis vs Stuart Bingham at the 2006 Masters. It was really grim.
