It IS, mate! The whole competition - including the Final.
Despite the format, it's a good competition, and now the only true Pro-Am left in snooker.

its now a full ranking event and pro am rolled in to one.
btw the Gibralter Open in March is also a Pro Am

These days, I'm surprised Barry Hearn doesn't classify the players going to the toilet to be a full ranking event.
Ebdon would still be in the top-16.

there are 28 spots available in the main draw and opportunities for amateurs to push on for a place on tour next season through the 1 year list.

There's also apparently a new Amateur Order of Merit (although it'll only comprise this event and the Gibraltar Open).
The Top 8 will play-off for 2 spots on the Tour (2 year cards).
Huge incentive for all these players...

Correct that to "Most",cause i certainly don,t enjoy watchin it at all,in fact i find it verrrry boring,i,d in fact rather watch baywatch or even watch a repeat of "I'm A Celebrity get me out of here",when Steve Davis took part in it,than all that Porn junk.
I will fully admit though,that i did watch the odd Porn film when i was young,but the last time i watched one must be about 20 years ago.
