I've had some Bush Mills Black Bush Irish Whiskey tonight thinking about watching the Q's today. I just started following snooker a year ago, and feel so happy to have found this forum since last August. Being here in the states, I will be up as always at 5 am to see the last 32 draw. Life is good. Til tomorrow my snooker island friends.:-)

Can't find the exact link but it was the 15th frame against Ding. Commentator said "like shelling peas". I was hooked.

Thank you Andre. Yes, Ronnie brought me to snooker because of the New Yorker article last year. Cheers my friend!
Definitely shelling peas there!

Bit excited, bit apprehensive.

Will my new hotel be alright? How will it be with tickets to random sessions, instead of my usual full matches? Will the tournament live up to the pre-tournament expectations?

Quite excited too. I'm going to Sheffield. The Crucible, the greatest sporting arena in the world. The World Snooker Championship. The best seventeen days of the year. The greatest and best things in all our lives...

It is, Holty will get crushed big time by Robbo.

Kyren should beat Perry too.

Re: The Crucible Countdown !!!!

Postby GJ

Gilbert could test Ronnie cant see ron losing though

Re: The Crucible Countdown !!!!

Postby Andre147

Ronnie draws David Gilbert.

Tie fo the round probably Judd v Wenbo.

Day v Higgins good match too.

Gouldy v Ding also a cracker.

Re: The Crucible Countdown !!!!

Postby GJ

Robbo will be delighted as judd could have 2 epic matches just to make quarters

Re: The Crucible Countdown !!!!

Postby Andre147

And Angles McManus got his wish... he said yesterday he wanted to draw one of his Scot mates... and he's got Maguire to contend with.

Ali has the game to beat Bingham

Definately.

Another defending Champ could go out very first round.

Re: The Crucible Countdown !!!!

Postby Andre147

Dotty v MJW... two former Champs right there.

I can easily see MJW losing to him.

Trump and Robbo section was the toughest and now with Ding, Liang and Dott it's a real cracker.

Kyren has got a good draw, of course, but I don't understand why he would be considered as a favourite against Perry, who is a strong and experienced player.

Gould was the unlucky man to face Ding and Fu won't be happy, too, having to face Ebdon.

Interesting result of the draw, it's good that we have avoided a cracker (like O'Sullivan v Ding) on the first round.

Perry isn't exactly a crucible specialist if he isn't a favourable draw not sure who is
