I'm actually fairly confident than Ronnie will. Most of us are, based on the one-sided nature of the poll.
But will John Higgins? He won three ranking events in 2015, which would've seen impossible shortly before he won the Welsh Open.
Can he win the biggie one more time?

I never bet against Higgins. I have a lot of respect for him, he's an all time great. But I have to say no on this one, he's too old. He hasn't aged as well as Ronnie. Nobody has.

If Bingham can win one then certainly Higgins can at any age.

Higgins will never reach a world final again. And if he does, he will be thrashed within an inch of his life.

its totally different.
Higgins plays against his past where as Bingham didn't have much of a past to live up to.

Hopefully, he won't have much of future either.

Higgins has no chance of winning the world again. He will win other ranking events. i would go as far as to say he wont ever win another triple crown event.

This thread should be renamed "How many World Titles will John Higgins in his 40s?"
I say three.

sounds more realistic than wilds mad rant
Wild would rather have lots of rubbish 21 year olds playing at The Crucible just because they are 21, rather than proven champions in the 40s. He is ageist.

The next thread should be "Will Higgins smash Stephen Hendry's records (world and overall ranking titles)?"

He will probably beat Hendry's 7 world title haul. Maybe he could get 10?!!

If John makes the final he will get smashed by selby or ding I reckon. Just to get to the final is an achievement.

Never underestimate Joh Higgins match playing. He has only lost 1 of his world finals way back in 2001. He somehow squeezed past Judd in 2011 when he should have lost fairly comfortably.
Selby for me though is the favourite. You are world no 1 for a reason.
