I actually see his point. Why wear formal clothes at all? Surely comfortable clothes would help them play?
And does it make any difference what they wear? Surely there aren't many people watching who care what they wear?
Wasn't it Selby who said he didn't like the tie?

So it was. I misread the article. How very Dennis Taylor if me.
Whoever said it, I agree with it.

Last time he played against Ronnie in the Masters he was also wearing a tie, and lost.
Coincidence? I think not!
Selby should just bring a spare bow tie with him next time.

Nope, it was funnier when he said it. Typical Wildey reply to a Cloud Strife post

I am not bitter, I do not know how that feeling is expressed.
It would be marvellous to see Higgins win the trophy against ROS may I say that. The most important point of this tournament is the prevention of Ronnie winning the trophy!

This has become one of my favourite clearances. Ronnie looks so cool and focused. Great break under pressure, he potted some tricky ones. Selby looks gutted. Ronnie acts like it's just another day at the office, no fistpumping or anything. Just a thumbs up to the fans and he's off.
