yes
but Hawkins is looking in no mood to give him many chances
Enjoyed the afternoon match, Wild?
that clearance in the 9th frame saved you from major anxiety

Nope. I don't get anxiety watching Ronnie anymore. He has nothing left to prove. It's down to the other players to prove they can beat a 40 year old. The world number one couldn't do it today...

A let off for Allen this frame. Still looks a distinct second best so far though.

What if Ronnie had lost it then?
Besides not being nothing new with him when he plays Selby, many other players have fallen under Selby's comeback.
It would have been no disgrace and me too would just congratulate Selby and watch and enjoy the rest of the event.

Good thing for Hearn, World Snooker and Dafabet Ronnie didn't lose otherwise millions would have switched off instantly.

Allen is probably trying to be 5-2 down so that the Hawkins choke can begin.
Mind you, he should have been 5-1 down fot it to be an even bigger choke.

He was hoping for a choke from 4-1, and has cocked it up.

This is why Allen may never win one of the Triple Crown events.
Way too inconsistent with his best performances, he's no Selby, Robbo, Murphy who can play great all tournament.

I'm of the opinion that he'll never win because his best game isn't good enough.
