..and I was just about to write that let´s just make this one thing straight; the game is not a child of the devil and an enemy of of everything that is right
It always can be a good idea just trying to relax a bit while playing snooker. Perhaps a few then. In that way "the law of constant change" is always there. Things won´t get too complicated or boring, and the sheer joy of the game can easily flourish.
Nah, Shaun´s no evil

Why isn't Neil Robertson participating in the ET events? He wasn't in Riga and now he's skipped this one too.

He's entitled to skip them though isn't he? Every player has their own season planning, so if Neil feels he doesn't want to play in all or most of the PTCs, who can blame him...

Players Sink or swim by their decisions.
They have the right to plan their season and when your at the top you have got the luxury to be able to pick and chose too.

Indeed.
If you lose some of the tournaments you do enter after skipping a few of them, your rankings will suffer and quickly. It can also be detrimental to your form.
On saying that, the higher your ranked the less of a risk you take. Neil Robertson is highly ranked, and is very much a class player. Obviously confident enough in his ability to miss a few.

Hossein Vafaei Ayour has pulled out of the Tournament as yet reason unknown but maybe his Visa to the UK has been sorted But playing in Europe is still a problem having pulled out of Riga too.

Missed the Shanghai Masters qualifying. Seems ages since I watched any snooker.
Looking forward to seeing a few matches next weekend, even best of sevens. May try and leave Saturday free, and have a bit of Eurosport action on.

In keeping with my idea of keeping Saturday, and hopefully Sunday, free. I have purchased some of these bad boys.
Lidl's finest lager. 20-cans for £12.45.
I've tried it before, can't be knocked for that price. I've also purchased some Iceland's hot dog pizzas, for ease of cooking. Whack in them in the oven, and let them cook whilst watch snooker stylee.
Hopefully this time next week, I shall be lifting a drink in Paul Hunter's memory.

Ronnie not entered this, yet he's there in Furth, seen several pictures of him already with other players, and he will apparently be there for his Ronnie Show, doing an interview with young german player Lukas Kleckers.
