Yes hendry_fan both Scots been playing very well having also reached the Final of World Cup.
However I'm hoping for a Gouldy v Jones Final, and then may the best player win their first ranking event title. Ideally for me it would be Gouldy.

I guess we'll only see Ronnie at the CoC in November, so long way to go until then...
But if I were him I would play one or two PTCs, for instance Paul Hunter Classic, and then play the IC like he did last season.
But as I said I highly doubt he'll do that again this season, so yeah most likely CoC is his first tournament of the season.

Just checked Jamie Jones. Looks like Jamie Jones is doing well against Higgins. Could the title be his?

Looks like a cracking game there. It was Jones 4-0 Higgins....but is now jones 4-5 Higgins !!
First to 6 of course, in the semis.
Edit: Higgins has won 6-4.
He made breaks of 134, 89, 45, 133 and 92 during the match.

When was the last time there was an all-Scottish ranking event final?
Having asked that, I know expect Gould to go and beat Mags!!
I had a look before pressing send - so have answered my own question!
It was 2011 in the Welsh Open final, with (funnily enough) Higgins beating Maguire!

Yea John finished off the match very well indeed Jones only real chance came in frame 8 but higgins closed out that frame with a 45 and ended up with 270 unanswered points to close the match out

Well done, John Higgins. Can't believe that a legend of the game like him doesn't have many fans here.
Good job from Jamie Jones too, he must feel gutted for losing after being 4-0 in front.

Can't really watch much today. I am going to the Albert Hall, don't you know.
I'll see if I can find Hitler's missing ball.

in frame 4 Maguire frustration was growing and had to leave the arena with tip problems.
When the frame commenced Gould took it to lead 4-0 at the mid session interval.

Apparently. He left for five minutes during the last frame to fix it.
Anyway, Mags looks a mess. Has played some poor shots and had the run against them. Mags always seemed like the type of player who dealt with that situation poorly.
