Yes, bring it on. Seems that some of the top players missing during the very early stages of the season. But I have never lost my appetite for the cracking jokes. And, indeed, it looks that I never will.

Hi,
just to let you know, there's a fantasy snooker game to play at fantasy-point.com if anyone is interested. It was fun last season but could do with some new players... The Australian Open competition is only open for entries till 1am CET tomorrow, but if you miss it you can still create a team and play in other tournaments.

Cheers! :-)

Cheers, I guess it's gonna be Higgins over Maguire then, I'd have preferred Maguire's match.
No need to guess for the other matches today.

I had heard of him, but just kind of remember his name from previous wild cards and Oceania championships.

Just done a bit of research (which I wish I did before I predicted a 0-5 loss for him!):

In 2012 he reached the final round of qschool event 1, losing 1-4 to Martin O'Donnell.

Also, in the most recent IBSF World Championship, he reached the Quarter Finals, losing 4-6 to Zhao Xintong.

Not bad, thanks!

Higgins is struggling a bit, Georgiou played a few poor positional shots plus got a massive kick on a crucial red after a Higgins error in the second frame.

5th and 6th were similar frames, enaged in a safety battle behind the pack, Higgins solved both of them and put in breaks of 83 and 74. Now Michael just missed the black following the first red in the 7th fame, John on a 27 break and counting

edit
just ended at 27 missing a pink

4-5 to Fergal from 4-2 is quite bad tho, I'm not that much surprised only because Stu was embarrassing in the two matches I've seen at the World Cup but I thought it had to do with conditions, travel, etc.
