Gotta go with most consecutive losses or most first round exits, those can't look good on a resume

First player to be whitewashed in World Final would be embarrassing. Imagine the whole world watching and you can't even win a single frame. Also, no matter what you go on to do, for the rest of your life and even after you're dead you will be known as "the bloke who got whitewashed in the world final".

most unanswered points is a good one to have, it means you kept your opponent from scoring/getting in
Even being on the wrong side of it isn't necessarily bad, if your opponent goes and knocks in 5 consecutive tons without you having a pot to even try it's hardly your fault.
Walden vs Ronnie comes to mind....he lost 5-0 with a 100% pot success rate....what can you do when Ronnie just makes frame winning break after frame winning break without giving you a sniff?

Try a
at the end of your post.
Given what Neil did to keep the record from Barry it seems some people think it's a bad record to be on the receiving side of....I just thought I'd point out it's not that bad

Getting battered in two world semi-finals in a row with a session to spare must be a quite embarrassing record to have.

The only man to get whitewashed 9-0 by Marcus Campbell....even more embarrassing, IMO.

wow! your really obsessed :)
Hendry was there for the taking by a lot of players after 2004ish especially when he so pig headishly refused to play more saftey.... so its really no big achievement. He left ROS in the balls every other frame

A video and audio record of events at a Russian hotel in 2010 is pretty bad if you're John Higgins.
