Currently Ronnie leads the way best priced 11/4
Trump in 2nd and best priced 13/2
Robbo 3rd but drifting after Selby win today at 7/1
Selby himself shortening a lot Best price 17/2
Other notables
Murphy 12/1
Ding 14/1
Higgins 33/1
Two bigger priced players who I think represent good value
M White 100/1 with some bookies
G Dott 125/1 with some bookies
Who are you tempted to put a bet on for this years World Championship ?
Post your bets on this thread throughout the big event

All these players are bound to be bigger prices during the tournament; ie in play, when they are behind in a match.

I backed Murphy last year at 25/1, mad the way he's come on this year at such shorter odds now..

I don't usually bet on winner, but I will try this time. I think the bookies got it quite right with Ronnie, Trump and Robbo being the favourites and I don't think the others got too much chance to win so I will bet on this 3.
Otherwise I will try to find some value in the qualifiers.

Higginson does. I wonder if the Widnes man will be tempted to put his career at risk? Live now, pay later!

It is called sarcasm. Get used to it Dazmuckian. There is much of it on these pages!
Higginson is clean, as far as I know!
Although I still wonder about his 2012 German Masters match against Ronald O'Sullivan....

I doubt they would, its high risk, high reward.
I don't like to encourage this sort of thing.

Accumulator pays about 350/1, depending on what bookie you use.

The odds depend upon which players you incorporated into the bet.

Yeah I agree Robbie W is a great price. good luck with your bet Armchair.
Mines ( 5 above) pays 352/1 for a £1 stake
Taking advantage of free bets on offer from different bookies I have bets on ( in value of stake order)
Trump
Robbo
Selby.
Ronnie is to short a price. He losses interest when he goes behind, in other words when someone else is taking the limelight

My Bets
Have a Large Accum on this. All should sail in. Printing Money I reckon. Only pays around the 2/1. They are all heavy odds on.
Mark Selby
Joe Perry
Shaun Murphy
Judd Trump
Stuart Bingham
Mark Williams
Ronnie O'Sullivan
Fancy Selby to win it outright @ 8/1. Last years champ. Has the easier half of the draw and if plays Trump or Ronnie in the final, he can annoy and bore them to defeat, Has the best match game.
Have a fiver on this to be the semi finals. Ronnie v Trump & Selby v Alan McManus. Fiver pays 1500. (295/1)

Before the qualies I did a "if one of these guys wins I'll make a return on a 11 player split on a small amount of money .
So far still in
Robertson (6/1) Murphy (10/1) Ding (13/1)
So far out:
Higgins (28/1) Brecel (100/1) Maguire (33/1) White (66/1) O Lines (250/1) Poomjaeng (500/1) Lisowski (200/1) G. Wilson (150/1)
Basically any shot at the big money is now gone and I'm betting on a single outright with the whole lot next year rather than trying to be clever.
