Excuse Thread
In a life situation:
Man goes to interview for a job. He is well qualified, has relevant experience, is well turned out, speaks well, etc.
Whilst sitting in waiting room, the man realises there are over 50 applicants for this one position. In his mind the man has already made an excuse in case he does not get the job. The excuse is that there were 50 other applicants therefore his chances are reduced, despite his qualification, experience, etc etc.
So back to snooker.
Many players enter a tournament and as it is about to start they are asked about their form. They say "yeah hitting them well, feeling good" OR "haven't been sleeping well, back injury guv".......
Lets pre-empt the excuses we might hear during the upcoming WC in Sheffield:
1. ROS - didn't want to travel to China after Alps accident, therefore not in best of form (rusty caught cold by in form qualifier).
2. Selby - neck injury / fatigued after China Open / new baby strain / Leicester City in premier league relegation battle.
3. Robbo - still getting over the Masters whipping he was given by Murphy / Hungover from celebrating the Aussie cricket world cup win.
So a light-hearted thread but please feel free to add possible excuses.
