Cue Slam (new Pro cuesports league, WPBSA support?)

Although this was launched a few days ago, I don't think anyone has posted on it yet?

In the same way IPL cricket runs using team franchises in India, the Billards and Snooker Federation of India is setting up a cuesports league in India, with 8 franchises based in various cities, each having a number of pro players, with the league running between June and August.

It is being organised by P V K Mohan, who narrowly won the International Billiards and Snooker Federation Presidency late last year.

Each 'match' will have a billiards game (50 Up), a snooker game and 3 pool games.

They anticipate 2 or 3 foreign players on each team, and there will be a female player on each team.

The WPBSA are working with the organisers to fit the league around the existing snooker schedule.
