Just watched a fascinating documentary on a local channel in the North East to do with sports finding.
10 minutes of it was dedicated to an interview with John Astley and his father, was quite informative. His father sponsors him to the tube of 20-25k a year which is a crazy amount required to chase your dreams.
The game is just not sustainable to all bar the elite unless sponsors can be found. Just thought to share as was a very interesting show.
