Indian Open Last 128 Discussion
Thursday 12th ~ Friday 13th at the Metrodome in Barnsley
This will be the second edition of the Indian Open, after a successful tournament in 2013 which was won by Ding Junhui, notable for home player Aditya Mehta having reached the Final of the event. It was to be held in October this season, but had to be postponed to mid March.
Before the action moves to India though, the players will have to win one qualifying round held in Barnsley, where defending champion Ding will start his defense against veteran Barry Pinches.
India's other top player, Pankaj Advani, will not be taking part as he's no longer on the tour, having decided to continue his successful career in Billiards, whilst other top players like current UK Champion Ronnie O'Sullivan, World Champion Mark Selby, Neil Robertson, current Masters Champion Shaun Murphy, Stuart Bingham, Mark Allen and Stephen Maguire are amongst the most notable absences in the tournament. But there certainly won't be any shortage of quality, with the other tour players in there battling it out for the title.
Who shall reach the Last 64 and earn a place at the venue?
