Not really excited about Robbo v Guodong, wanted to see Selby and Ebdon grind it out
anyway, hopefully Ebdon can pull off a great win and one of those great runs he has ocasionally at overseas tournaments.

Travesty Robbo v Xiao is on instead of Selby v Ebdon, although I suppose it means I won't go and meet my friends at 11:30 tonight.

Dear Studio, last 32 was Robbo's performance last year not his best performance here. He lost to Carter in the semis in 2013.

Fair choice, if Ronnie wins his against Perry then he should get the TV one with either of them.

Robertson is completely freezing Xiao out here like he did with Carter and Ronnie in the Masters.
Sometimes he's really like a machine.

But Ronnie played pretty bad has to be said, after that missed black in frame 2 he missed almost everything he went for, and that gifted Robbo chances on a plate.
He still did the job though, and here it's similar, Xiao giving him chances on a plate.

cant be called peaking because he hasnt had a century yet and here Xiao so far giving him chances all over the place.
He will be tough to beat if he reaches the semis because thats when he always raises his game.

Yes, true, Ronnie had a horrible day. He had chances in all frames basicially. But yeah, Robertson sometimes just has this class where he really freezes out his opponents. And today he's doing it.
Xiao is not playing well obviously but he's permanently under pressure. Everytime he comes to the table he has difficult shots in front of him. He needs an easy starter but Robertson won't allow that.

Yeah Robbo not playing anything special but Xiao looks like a rabbit caught in the headlights.
On a side note, if all higher seeded players come through this could be one of the strongest Quarter-Finals line-up in recent times.
