A Chinese 8 Ball tournament played in the first week of January - the two previous editions were won by Gareth Potts, other players included Stephen Hendry, Alex Pagulayan, Karl Boyes, Darren Appleton and Earl Strickland.

is that full size snooker table? are the pockets standard snooker size or bigger for the pool?

It's an eight-foot table, similar in size to the many homeroom pool tables, but slightly smaller than the one you see in competition pool.

"the table size is 9x4.5 to be exact, but the pockets and rails are constructed as a snooker table. The rules they play is very similar to BCA/WPA 8 ball, the most noticable exception might be that you have to explicitly call the pocket on 8 ball. Souquet and Appleton both lost one rack due to this rule."
