Anyone else think it would make a great venue for a one-table set-up event like the Masters/Coc - maybe a top 16 on the one-year rankers event (give some of the prominent newbies a bit more coverage)?. 11,000 capacity, easily accessible, great place for people to go on and enjoy themselves in the area and all round a good venue? It'd be nice to see a much larger venue used as well.

They should bring back the venue at Goffs. It used to host the Irish Masters in the 80s and 90s and it was one of the best venues in Snooker,a bit similar to the Tower Circus arena that hosts the Shootout.
The players used to love that arena at Goffs, it very recently hosted a Legends event and some of the photos that Monique Limbos posted on her Facebook are amazing to say the least.
So yeah Goffs should have a ranking event again like the Irish Masters.

Fudge to the Irish Masters, we need more events in England outside of the majors.
